Dawww I'm flattered hun, but he looks so much like Perry, it's scary. the style and hair colour definately. I don't mind the technique you used, but try and aim for your own personal style and character design. Still really flattered to be some sort of inpiration. Thankyou for that.
No probs, babe, yeah I kinda modelled it on Perry, but I've just finished doing dome more of my own characters, just same drawing technique. They should be up tomorrow I hope... I dont have a scanner or a tablet so it's all on paper.
Perry's hair is a little greener though, I changed mine from the same colour lol.
I think this drawing style is going to be my 'thing' as just by doing about 5 drawings I've practically mastered shading and stuff.
Okay hun, but it's just irksome to have a character that looks like one of my own in the same style. Like the way I draw noses and shape of the face and stuff. I really don't appreciate duplications of how I draw. As I said, it'd be best for you to find yer own personal style.
I dont want to sound offensive at all, but however much you may have tweaked it, this drawing technique is not your own. There are numerous different movies, TV shows and books that use this style of drawing in them, and yours is, I must say, quite like them.
Ouch that sounded harsh.. I am rather tactless really; but it is the truth. I understand your point of view, and I will deviate from using you exact techniques, but this style really works for me and I will keep doing it.
lol Ouch. XD Yes I agree, nothing is completely original anymore, heck I was inspired by the artwork in Ocarina of time! But the way I draw is something I have developed and worked on for years. I didn't pluck a style from somewhere out of the blue and use it and I pride myself on that. But I really appreciate you trying other things and develop the way you draw, sorry if I ever sounded rude about it. Its just happened a lot recently. I completely understand about a style clicking and feeling comfortable with it. It's like me with the zelda art. Thanks for understanding.
No probz! I love Ocarina... I have windwaker, Ocarina on GameCube and Twilight Princess on Wii.
I can see where your inspiration came from ^_^ and I will keep looking, but I make no promises; this style has, as you said, 'clicked' with me very well.
Same here, but I suck cos I aint got past the water temple on Twilight. *sigh*
XD at least yer polite enough to give credit unlike some people lol I really do appreciate that much! friends.
